Hermes Kelly 32 bag Sellier in black box, an iconic Hermes bag

Exuding luxury, this vintage Hermès Kelly 32 is akin to a precious gemstone—but one meant to be displayed, not hidden away. Crafted from black box leather, it showcases the iconic Hermès Paris stamp on the front. The design features gold-tone hardware, a padlock, a leather clochette, and keys. Inside, the black leather interior offers a main compartment along with two slit pockets for added convenience.

In 1954 Grace Kelly was offered this bag in 'To catch a thief' from Hitchcock and fell in love with it. At the time the bag was called 'Sac a depeches'. In 1956, the bag got its name when she used it as a shield to cover up her pregnant belly. The original bag that Grace Kelly wore can be seen at the Victoria and Albert museum in London.
