Hermes Kelly Bag 32 in black box, an iconic Hermes bag
Luxurious, this Hermes Kelly bag 32 cm is like a precious gemstone - with the exception it should never be locked away. Crafted from black box in the 1970s, it has the traditional Hermes Paris stamp placed on the front and signed on the lock. Featuring gold-tone hardware, padlock, leather bell and keys. The black leather interior features one main compartment closing with a zip and two slit pockets on the opposite side.
In 1954 Grace Kelly was offered this bag in 'To catch a thief' from Hitchcock and fell in love with it. At the time the bag was called 'Sac a depeches'. In 1956, the bag got its name when she used it as a shield to cover up her pregnant belly. The original bag that Grace Kelly wore can be seen at the Victoria and Albert museum in London.
This Hermes Kelly bag 32cm is in very good pre-owned condition. Comes with authenticity certificate.
